In the afternoon of 29th July, with the completion of the last concrete pouring, the civil main structure of the North Exhibition Hall of Chongqing ‘One Belt, One Road’ International Technology Exchange Centre was topped out, marking the completion of the civil main structure of the project, and entering the steel structure construction stage.
Chongqing ‘One Belt, One Road’ International Technology Exchange Centre has a total construction area of about 87,800 square meters, the main function of the conference and exhibition and supporting offices, etc. 29 construction site, eight tower cranes are turning in an orderly manner, the east, south and west of the three exhibition halls have entered into the steel construction stage; and in the north exhibition hall on the roof of a long ‘iron arm’, the main structure of the project to achieve the completion of the roofing. On the roof of the North Exhibition Hall, a long ‘iron arm’ is connected to the pipeline, and the concrete on the pump truck is slowly transported to the top concrete pouring part, and the workers spread and smooth it out evenly in an orderly manner.
The person in charge of the project of China Construction Six Bureau introduced that, in order to successfully complete the civil construction of the main structure of the roof, the project department adhere to the bottom line of construction safety, seriously do a good job of safety and technical briefing work, and daily safety hidden danger investigation, to ensure that the construction of all aspects of safety and controllable.
At the same time, the project department makes full use of the project weekly meeting time, focuses on the key construction arrangements and difficult problems to discuss, and formulates solution measures in time to ensure that the problems are solved in time.
As a key project of intelligent construction in Two Rivers New Area in 2024, the project also actively tries intelligent construction technology during the construction process. According to the construction progress and operational needs, the project introduced a four-wheeled laser ground levelling machine and a crawler smoothing robot, one of which is mainly used for slurry lifting, surface finishing and elevation control during the initial concrete setting stage; the other is mainly used for slurry lifting and surface finishing on the ground after the initial concrete setting.
With the addition of the robots, the work is not affected by weather, personnel fatigue and other factors, ensuring the stability and continuity of the construction. Most of the working surfaces were formed at one time, and the elevation could be accurately controlled, and the pass rate of levelling was stable at more than 95%, and the large-area concrete levelling work was completed in a short time, which significantly improved the construction efficiency.
Next, the project will enter the steel structure construction stage. After it is completed and put into use, it will become an important bearing place, display place and experience place for the gathering of western innovation resources and scientific and technological innovation in Chongqing Municipality, which will help Liangjiang New Area to accelerate the construction of the core bearing area of scientific and technological innovation centre with national influence.
